Privacy

myjobcontacts works without an account. What you enter is saved on your device and is not sent to us or to any state agency.
What stays on your phone
Your job contacts (dates, employers, job titles, contact people, phone numbers, websites, results and notes), your proof photos and screenshots, your name and your settings are saved only in your web browser’s storage on your device. If you clear your browser data or lose your phone, they are gone unless you saved a backup file. Backup files are saved wherever you choose. We never receive them.
PDF logs and reminders
PDF logs and spreadsheets are made on your device. Calendar reminders are added by your own calendar app or by Google Calendar, if you choose it. Those services have their own privacy policies.
What we do collect
We use PostHog, an analytics service, to count page visits and simple events like “a contact was added” or “a PDF log was made,” along with general device and browser information and an approximate location based on your IP address. We don’t record what you type, and we remove the “#” part of every link before anything is counted. We don’t sell data and there are no ads.
Our web host (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard server logs of page requests, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
Children
myjobcontacts is meant for adults managing their own unemployment claim.
